A staff day in Brussels for 200 employees of FPS Social Security, with a large domino course in the morning and a city game through the streets in the afternoon.

On 15 September 2026, the employees of FPS Social Security came together in Brussels for their All Employee Meeting. The FPS put the activity programme for the day out to public tender, and we were given the opportunity to deliver it. The brief was clear: a creative and interactive programme for a diverse group of employees, with challenges everyone could take part in, including those with limited mobility. The FPS also asked us to focus on collaboration, inclusion and sustainability.

We proposed a day in two parts: building together indoors in the morning, and exploring the city outdoors in the afternoon.

The morning was all about the Domino Experience. The employees were divided into teams, and each team designed and built its own section of a large domino course, including at least one special effect. Within each team, participants shared out the roles: a leader, designers, builders, an integrator and a safety coordinator. Along the way, the teams also had to connect their projects to one another. At the end, the first domino fell and the whole course toppled, project after project.

After the lunch break, the participants headed into the city for City Highlights Brussels. In teams of six or seven, with an iPad as their guide, they visited various spots around Brussels. Along the way they answered questions about the city and completed photo and video challenges and puzzles. The teams largely chose for themselves how far they walked, so everyone could take part fully. The day after the event, the FPS received the presentation with all the photos and videos, along with the final ranking.

Both activities were run in Dutch and French. We worked with reusable materials: the dominoes and iPads go on to the next event, and apart from some paper for the designs and a little masking tape, there was hardly any waste.

We took care of the preparation, the running order, the materials, the set-up and dismantling, and the supervision on site. In the run-up to the event, we fine-tuned the running order with the FPS organising team over several meetings. Afterwards, the organisers let us know they had enjoyed working with us and found us well prepared.

> Thank you for your fantastic contribution. You really gave it your all to make it an enjoyable day. The feedback from our employees has been very positive.
