Team building: building together

Team building where you build together: a bamboo structure, a domino run or your own soap box. Plan, divide the work and see the result together.

Building together: teamwork you can see

In building together team building, something stands at the end that you all made together. Along the way, the same things happen as at work: planning, dividing tasks, discussing, adjusting when something fails. The difference is that you can literally see the result. It works well for project teams, teams that often work across departments and newly formed groups.

Building activities take place indoors or outdoors, all year round. On the beach you build with sand, in winter with ice, and indoors with bamboo, dominoes or bike parts.

### Three building activities to start with

- (link: page://Ab7zsHVoliXGRBH7 text: Bamboo Experience): use bamboo poles, elastic bands, banners and cardboard to build a giant marble run, triumphal arch or castle.
- (link: page://dXmeFtoEGh6NvEj9 text: Domino Experience): each team designs and builds part of a large domino run, with roles such as leader, designer, builder and integrator.
- (link: page://fGt0UhKceD6iR7d4 text: Soap Box Experience): set up a racing team, earn play money through challenges, buy parts and build your own soap box.

Budget: the activities in this selection range from €€ (31 to 60 euros) to €€€€ (91 to 120 euros) per person, excluding VAT and based on a group of 50.

### What does a team learn from building together?

You see straight away how people communicate, who keeps the overview and how the group handles pressure and setbacks. In the Domino Experience everything has to connect at the end, just like in a large project.

### Can we keep or donate the result?

Sometimes. With (link: page://4d8uikm2XhXEJnwk text: Build a bike for Africa), we ship a bike to Africa for every bike your team builds.

### How many participants?

Anything from small teams to large groups. For Danone, around 300 people in Málaga built a Domino Experience together.
