With the 2CV cars we travel along the "Capital of the good life", Poperinge. By means of different route descriptions we get to know different hops products. We leave in Watou and on the way we taste a "Poperings Hommelknopje" and a West-Vleteren near the Saint Sixtus Abbey. We have lunch in a nice pub "het Witte Paard" in Vleteren. After lunch we drive through the hopfields to the hops museum in Poperinge to have a pitstop. There we can taste a "Struisse Rosse" paté and "pannepot" bread and finally end with a brewery visit at Saint Bernardus. To discover and to enjoy in a unknown artisanal and quiet environment are of key importance.
