Japanese Theme Party

Thanks to the intense ties of friendship with Itami - a city that leans against Osaka (Japan), Hasselt can present you the largest Japanese garden (no less than 25,000 m²) in Europe. Hasselt is therefore the ideal framework for a Japanese Theme Party where we give everyone who is interested in knowledge of the East the opportunity to discover and immerse themselves in 'Japan at its best'.

Enjoy the blooming cherry trees while visiting the Japanese garden, experience the rousing rhythm of the Japanese drums during a Taiko workshop, or relaxing during a workshop origami or haiku. If you want it a bit more active, choose Samurai fighting, sumo wrestling, a workshop judo or kendo (sword fighting). Culinary you can of course enjoy sushi and sake, a session of shiatsu or kobido (body and facial massage) can of course not be missed or for those who have green fingers you can learn the tricks of the trade in a real Bonsai workshop.
