Sea kayaking means facing the waves with a peddle, a life jacket and a special sea kayak and sailing against the waves to then drift again ashore. Beginners should best sail a sit-on-top kayak. The only difference with a regular kayak is that you sit on the boat and not in the boat. When the boat capsizes then you are not trapped and you can easily climb on the kayak again. The sit-on-top kayak cannot fill with water.
