An exciting and interactive team activity where the Colas team had to collaborate and stay sharp to uncover the saboteur.
On April 10, 2025, we hosted the “Who is the Saboteur?” game for Colas at Kattebroek, with 63 participants. The activity was high-energy and engaging, where teamwork was essential, but you never quite knew who to trust.
Participants were divided into teams tasked with completing various assignments. However, some members were saboteurs, secretly trying to disrupt the group’s progress. The challenge for the rest of the team was to observe, communicate, and figure out who the saboteur was, while still completing the tasks. It was a mix of strategy, quick thinking, and careful decision-making: when to trust and when to question.
What made this experience unique was that it started a week before the event with a short online survey. This helped identify potential saboteurs and allowed us to assemble the teams accordingly, so the game began even before participants arrived on-site.
During the activity, strategic alliances formed, unexpected twists occurred, and interaction was constant. Everyone had a role—observing, communicating, coordinating—and the suspense lasted until the very end. The day culminated in the exciting moment of unmasking the saboteur, bringing laughs, surprises, and plenty of conversation.
The result was a fun, immersive experience where colleagues got to know each other differently, collaborated under pressure, and enjoyed a playful but challenging team exercise.
