We organized a Bamboo Experience for Lindt & Sprüngli at the Van Oys Maastricht Retreat.
The team building took place in the exceptional setting of Van Oys Maastricht Retreat. A location where tranquility, elegance, and attention to detail come together. A place that provides the perfect backdrop for reflection, connection, and quality team moments!
After a brief introduction and brainstorming session about the construction assignment, the group was divided into smaller teams. The participants set to work with simple materials such as bamboo sticks, elastic bands, banners, gutters, cardboard, and colored cloths. Each team worked on its own construction, for which coordination, division of tasks, and communication were essential.
Bamboo is a rewarding material: flexible, light, and strong at the same time. This quickly made it clear how important it is to make decisions together and to incorporate each other's ideas into the construction process. Under the guidance of our coaches, themes such as cooperation, leadership, creativity, and time management were addressed in a natural way.
The Bamboo Experience offered the Lindt & Sprüngli team an active and accessible team-building exercise, with room for experimentation, adjustment, and moving forward together. A format that seems simple, but precisely because of that provides strong insight into how a team works together.
