We’re on the hunt for the most sustainable company!
Looking to make a real difference at work? Be the Change: Small Acts, Big Impact challenges companies and their employees to turn sustainability from ambition into action—one small habit at a time.
Sustainability is an important priority for many companies today. Yet it often remains a challenge to translate these ambitions into concrete actions in the workplace. That’s why Ecco La Luna, in collaboration with Do Good People, is launching the first edition of the Be the Change: Small Acts, Big Impact Challenge this spring.
This three-week challenge encourages employees to develop sustainable habits and immediately apply them in their daily work routines.
Turning sustainability into action
More and more organizations want sustainability not just on paper, but truly integrated into their company culture. The Be the Change: Small Acts, Big Impact program addresses this with an interactive and playful approach.
During the challenge, employees work together in teams and compete against other companies. Through a gamified app, participants regularly receive sustainability challenges that encourage them to act more consciously and sustainably—both at work and beyond.
Practical and achievable challenges
Companies can register with teams of up to 15 people. Over three weeks, all team members receive a variety of tasks via the app.
These challenges are organized around four key themes:
Circular economy – reducing waste and recycling in the office
DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion)
Energy efficiency – daily habits to save energy
Health, safety, and wellbeing – for example, managing stress in the workplace
The tasks are deliberately designed to be easily integrated into the workday without disrupting regular activities. For instance, participants might be challenged to save energy, keep nature clean, or move more during their workday.
A healthy competition between companies
For each completed action, participants earn points. These points determine their team’s position on the leaderboard, creating extra motivation and a healthy competitive atmosphere.
After three weeks, the team with the highest average score is crowned the most sustainable company.
But the impact of the challenge goes beyond the final ranking. The program helps employees develop new sustainable habits that they continue to practice after the challenge. At the same time, it fosters a more conscious, impact-driven mindset, making sustainability a unifying element within teams and organizations.
International launch
Ecco La Luna is organizing the challenge in three countries:
Luxembourg – starting April 13
France – starting May 11
Belgium – starting May 18
Companies can register multiple teams, which also creates fun and motivating internal competition.
