Luminus, Belgium’s number one in onshore wind energy, took part in a powerful sustainability-themed teambuilding at the stunning Abbaye De La Ramée. Divided into 10 teams, they built their own wind turbines during our brand-new Wind Farm Experience.
Divided into 10 teams, the Luminus participants took on the challenge: who could build the most efficient and sustainable wind turbine? During this innovative teambuilding experience, fully centered around sustainability, collaboration, creativity, and strategic thinking were key.
Our Wind Farm activity combines two powerful elements: on the one hand, building a functional wind turbine with a strong focus on minimizing the CO2 emissions of the materials used; on the other, an interactive app-based Sustainability Challenge featuring quizzes and tasks through which teams can earn additional carbon offset.
After a thrilling competition, “The Winders” claimed victory thanks to smart material choices and a top score in the quiz. Their turbine had the lowest Net Carbon Footprint — and that made all the difference!
This unique and themed teambuilding was developed in collaboration with teambuilding experts from Ireland and Portugal, offering an original and content-driven way to bring teams together around one of the most crucial challenges of our time: sustainability.
