AXA - City Explorer

For AXA Belgium, we organized a multilingual City Explorer in the heart of Brussels for 200 participants. The activity was delivered in Dutch, French and English, allowing colleagues from different teams and language backgrounds to enjoy one shared team-building experience.

Participants were divided into 23 teams and set off into the city equipped with either an iPad or their own smartphone. Along the route, they explored Brussels through a combination of city-specific quiz questions, fascinating facts, creative photo and video challenges, and brain-teasing riddles. Each team aimed to collect as many points as possible while collaboration, communication and creativity played a key role throughout the game.

What made this edition truly unique was the shared final challenge. Although the teams competed against one another during the City Explorer, they ultimately had to work together towards a common objective. The information and results collected throughout the game were combined to complete a large mosaic puzzle, after which all participants joined forces to unlock a mysterious vault. This transformed the competitive experience into a memorable finale where cooperation between all teams became the key to success.

After the event, all participants received a digital gallery containing the photos and videos captured during the activity, allowing them to relive the highlights of their adventure through Brussels.
With its multilingual approach, interactive city discovery and original collaborative finale, this City Explorer perfectly demonstrated how a city can become the ideal setting for a team-building experience where discovery, creativity and collaboration go hand in hand.
