A kick-off that sticks
A kick-off event marks the start of a new year, a new strategy or a major project. The presentation explains where you are heading, and a shared activity lets everyone feel it. Ecco La Luna organises your kick-off from start to finish: a venue with room for the plenary session, catering, an activity tied to your theme and a closing moment where people can catch up.
We work with small teams and with groups of more than 1000 people, in Belgium and well beyond.
What we take care of
- Venue: a place with room for presentations and for the activity, or at your own offices.
- Catering: from a coffee welcome to networking drinks or dinner.
- An activity built around your message: the theme of the day comes back in the challenges.
- Hosting: event managers in Dutch, French and English, and on request in German, Italian or Spanish.
- Going further: if you want more than one day, we can link the kick-off to coaching on mission, vision and values.
Activities for a kick-off
These formats turn a shared goal into something you do together:
- Domino Experience: each team builds its own section around the theme of the day, then everything is connected into one domino finale. For Danone we built one in Málaga with about 300 participants.
- Bamboo Experience: with bamboo poles, elastic bands and fabric, you build a giant structure together. Experienced coaches can also look at how the group works.
- Who is the saboteur?: a tense team game in which a few players secretly sabotage the tasks. It starts a week before the event with an online questionnaire.
- Make your corporate song: write and record your own company song together, guided by producers, audio engineers and vocal coaches.

Planning and budget
A kick-off often falls in January or at the start of a project, and those dates are usually fixed well in advance. Most companies book their event 6 to 12 weeks ahead. That gives us time to work your theme into the activity and to secure a venue.
The price depends on the activity, the number of participants and the extras. Each activity shows a budget indication per person for a group of 50, from € (30 to 35 euros) to €€€€€ (more than 120 euros), excluding VAT.

Can you tailor the activity to our theme or strategy?
Yes. In formats like the Domino Experience, teams design something around the theme of the day. We can also link a kick-off to team or individual coaching on your mission, vision or values.
How many people can attend a kick-off?
From a small team to groups of 100, 200 or more than 1000 participants. We adapt the activity to the size of your group.
How long does a kick-off take?
As long as suits your programme. Most activities last about 2 to 3 hours, but anything from 1 hour to half a day, a full day or several days is possible.
How much does a kick-off event cost?
It depends on the activity, the group size and the extras. For the activity, expect between €20 and more than €120 per person excl. VAT (group of 50), with a minimum of €750 per event.
