In a workshop of 60’ or 90’ minutes we take the participants in a warm-up, first they learn a few basics and then proceed to teaching a (short) choreography. Dancing provides various benefits in an airy and relaxing way, even for people who have no experience at all. We're working on a real confidence boost and we're not making it too complex, so it stays pleasant for everybody.
The workshop requires creativity and the ability to coordinate movements. It can encourage participants to think in new ways and find creative solutions, which can also be useful in their professional tasks.
It also promotes cardiovascular health, strengthens muscles, improves flexibility and helps inining a healthy weight.
It is also a great way to reduce stress: During dance, endorphins (the happiness hormone) are released, which have a positive effect on mood and reduce stress levels. In a low-threshold way, we also provide a certain form of self-expression, which can have a therapeutic effect on mental health.
By dancing, people can increase their self-confidence. Mastering new movements and developing dance skills can promote a sense of achievement and self-confidence. Dancing is fun for everyone! Even if you do not dance often, enjoying music and movement can bring a sense of joy and relaxation.
