Graffiti has always existed , writing and drawing on walls is in fact one of mankind's oldest activities. Modern graffiti however only became popular in the beginning of the 70's. Graffiti was sprayed on trains, walls and in metros. Nowadays you can see them everywhere. Not only in cities or in places which graffiti are not allowed, but also in museums, in advertising and in fashion.
Collaboration is very important in this workshop: we work together or per team to achieve one and the same result. After practising individually the basic techniques we can work together to find a theme, logo, catchphrase or slogan. This workshop is original, creative and a source of inspiration for the participants.

FAQ
Do we need any experience with spray paint?
None needed. You first practise the basic techniques individually, and only then work together on a theme, logo, catchphrase or slogan. The guidance makes it accessible whether or not you have ever held a spray can.
What is provided during the workshop?
We provide a protection suit and mouth mask for each participant, a painting canvas per two to three participants, and high quality graffiti spray cans. Everything you need to create your work is on hand.
Is this a team activity or an individual one?
Both. After practising the basics on your own, you work together or in teams towards one shared result, such as a common theme or logo. Collaboration is at the heart of this workshop.
